The stocky 22 year old left hander Andrew Miller played the best baseball game of his life last Sunday afternoon to claim the victory for Florida Marlins against the Padres in the series final game. Miller allowed just two runs and four hits and also struck out four in his six innings for the Marlins. He received tremendous support from the Marlins offensive line up as they scored five runs. The Florida Marlins had a convincing win of 10-3 against the Padres, thanks to the heroics of young Miller.
Miller, who had the longest innings of his 2008 season, said that he was pretty happy to have played long in this game and is expecting to play even better innings for his team. Miller said that he was feeling a lot better after playing this game and hoped that he has similar games coming his way in the future as well.
